Three of the seven case studies have been chosen to be part of "Living Food Communities," the video component of the project.
A film crew, led by Francesco Amato and Stefano Scarafia, will shoot three documentaries, each around 15-20 minutes long, which will then be edited into a feature-length documentary to be shown at film and documentary festivals around the world.
The first documentary, shot in Kenya with the Pokot community in Tarsoi in July 2011, was presented at Euro Gusto in Tours (November 18-20, 2011).
The second film was be shot in Ethiopia between November 5 and 13, 2011. It was then presented at AlGusto in Bilbao (December 16-19, 2011).
These will be followed by the third film shot in Senegal in February 2012, presented at the Riga event in august, while the final feature-length documentary at Salone del Gusto/Terra Madre in October in Turin.
